You will be surprised to discover a large variety of excellent wines in the area of Bergerac. These wines are made with the same grape varieties as the Bordeaux wines but are much lower in price and by and large offer a great value. You will visit a winery reputed for the high quality of its red wines (Pecharmant appellation). Continue with a visit to an organic-grown vineyard, where primarily white wines are produced and learn from the owners all about the different Bergerac wines, including the reputed Monbazillac (white mellow wine). A wine tasting will be offered at the end of each visit. The tour also includes a walking tour of the charming historical town of Bergerac where you will encounter Monsieur Cyrano de Bergerac himself!
